Hello! 

I'm Sammy... Snappy Sammy. I am a full time shark diver and photographer out of Haleiwa, Hawaii on Oahu. I've been photographing sharks since about 2018 and photographing underwater since about 2013.

For years, I have had people requesting to buy my prints but I didn't have a website set up. I have been very against creating a website that automatically ships out low quality, cheap prints to my customers for an outrageous mark up. Every print order made on this site is personally received by me and then passed off to my favorite, high quality metal printer. (I've always been a sucker for the highest gloss prints). 

 

My brief back story as a photographer - I started shooting on a film camera the summer before I started kindergarten. Next I switched to video camcorders before middle school. From there I moved onto digital point and shoot cameras as a pre-teen before semi-permanently borrowing a friend of a friend's SLR film camera as a teen. Then I went onto medical photography (after returning the SLR) as a Bachelor of Science. Post college, I worked on a variety of photography disciplines and projects before eventually landing on dedicating all of my time to shark photography.
